Come near to your children and give them affectionate touch.
Tell them you know who they are and tell them the good character traits you see in them.
Tell them about the special future that God plans for his children.
Reassure them that you are there to support them as they pursue God and his plan for their lives and that you support their future success in life.
Do this often and make sure they know they have your blessing in life. Communicate values. Communicate love. Communicate Blessing.
